Day 3: Budapest - Cluj Napoca - Breakfast

Transfer from Budapest to Cluj-Napoca.

Arrival in Cluj-Napoca, second largest city in Romania (after Bucharest, the Capital) and Capital of Transylvania region.

Cluj-Napoca: the second largest city in Romania (after the capital Bucharest) and the capital of the Transylvania region. Cluj-Napoca is renowned as a university city and an important medical center. Today, Cluj-Napoca is known as the "Silicon Valley" of Central and Eastern Europe, and is a festival capital. Among the festivals held in Cluj-Napoca are TIFF (Transylvania International Film Festival), Electric Castle, Jazz in the Park, and UNTOLD—one of the three most famous electronic music festivals worldwide.

Afternoon: Take a leisurely walk to visit Unirii Square and St. Michael's Church to acclimatize to the climate and exchange local currency (Leu/RON).

You will receive the “badge/bracelet” for three days of concerts, spreaded especially within Cluj Arena Stadium.

Evening: Have a light dinner, get plenty of rest to recharge for the four explosive nights ahead.

Days 4 and 5: Cluj-Napoca - Breakfast

Morning – Noon: Dedicate the entire time to catching up on sleep and resting to recover. Have a late lunch/brunch at local restaurants by yourself for a price from 15 eur.

Afternoon (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Explore the charming cultural spots around Cluj such as the Botanical Gardens, Cetățuia Hill (for panoramic city views), or participate in the festival's side activities at Central Park.

Evening (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM the next morning): The group will walk to the festival center area of ​​Cluj Arena and BTarena. Immerse yourself in the "new era" of Untold with spectacular stages (Main Stage, Galaxy, Alchemy) and the legendary line-up of 2026 (Sting, Martin Garrix, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Armin van Buuren...).

(At the end of each of the four days, after the concerts, you will come back bay walk to your hotel).

Untold Festival is one of the largest electronic music festival in the world, and it is held in Romania, by the city of Cluj-Napoca. The main venues are Cluj Arena and Parcul Central. The first edition was held in 2015. On that year, the festival was designated Best Major Festival at the European Festival Awards 2015. Guests come from almost all European countries, as well from Asia, North and South America, Australia.

Versions of Untold are: 

• Neversea, a beach-dedicated festival which takes place in Constanța, since 2017;
• Massif, the mountain-dedicated version, held in the famous mountain resort Poiana Brașov, since 2023;
• Untold Dubai, the only international version in this moment, in Dubai, since 2024;
• Kapital, in Bucharest, since 2025.

First edition 2015

The first edition of the festival took place in 2015 mainly on Cluj Arena. In 2015, Cluj-Napoca was appointed the European Youth Capital. The main artists that performed at that time were: Armin van Buuren, Avicii, David Guetta. Among other performing artists, we can enumerate: Duke Dumont, Fedde Le Grand, Lost Frequencies, John NewmanSasha, Patrice, Boney M, Culture Beat and East 17. During the four days of the festival, Cluj-Napoca was overcrowded, as more than 240,000 people attended the concerts, held on several stages in the centre of Cluj-Napoca.

This year 2026 edition

Among the artists attended to perform this year, UNTOLD FESTIVAL will receive: Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Afrojack.

Day 6: Cluj Napoca - Sighisoara - Rupea - Brasov - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

07.00 Departure for Sighisoara, the “Pearl of Transylvania”.

Route distance: 155 km - Approximately 2,5 hours by car

This is one of the seven Transylvanian cities that founded "Siebenbürgen": Sibiu/Hermannstadt, Brașov/Kronstadt, Sighișoara/Schäßburg, Mediaș/Mediasch, Orăștie/Broos, Cluj-Napoca/Klausenburg, and Bistrița/Bistritz. Later, two more Transylvanian Saxon cities joined the select club of "Siebenbürgen": Reghin/Sächsisch Regen and Sebeș/Mühlbach.

10.00 Arrival in Sighisoara, also connected to ”Dracula Legend”.

Sighisoara is the only medieval citadel in Europe, entirely and continuously inhabitated, since its construction, being UNESCO PATRIMONY.

It was in this beautiful city, the famous Prince Vlad Tepes (called “Vlad the Impaller”) was born in 1431, in the house “Casa Vlad Dracul”. The name Dracul/Dracula comes from the medieval Order of Dragons wich counted among its members, Prince Vlad the II-nd Dracul, father of Vlad Tepes. Connection between Vlad Tepes, the Prince of Wallachia is, of course, just a fiction, used by novelist(s) or film maker(s). Vlad Tepes was a strong defender of christianity, defeating many times Otoman Empire.

10.00-13.00 walking tour to see famous places and monuments: a few of 9 (over 14 medieval towers of the medieval city; among these, Clock Tower is the most well preserved and houses the Sighisoara City Museum).

We will see famous houses: Vlad Dracul House (XV-th century; in this house was born Vlad Tepes in 1431), Venitian House, Stag House. Covered Staircases will help us to get to the top of the Citadel.

Church of the Hill, is the third largest catholic cathedral in Romania (after the Black Church in Brasov and Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Cluj-Napoca).

13.00-14.30 Lunch in Sighisoara

Departure to Brasov, another beautiful Transylvanian City, also founder member of “Sieben Burgen”.

Route distance: 120km (70km Sighisoara to Rupea; 50km Rupea to Brasov) - Approximately 2 hours by car

Stop in Rupea (Reps, saxon name).

15.30-16.30 Visit of Rupea Medieval Fortress, dominating the surroundings, a Medieval Jewel.

Day 7: Brasov - Bran - Brasov - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Brasov walking city tour: The Black Church (the iconic monument of Brasov), City Hall Square, City Hall, The Cord Street (the narrowest street on Earth!), Ecaterina Gate.

Black Church is the largest catholical church in Romania and the largest one between Vienna and Istanbul, gothic style architecture. Inside, one of the largest orgue in Romania and also a beautiful collection of oriental carpets.

We finish the tour of Brasov with the visit of First Romanian School Museum.

12.00-13.30 Lunch in Brasov

13.30 Departure to Bran

Route distance: 35 km - Approximately 30 minutes by car

14.00-15.30 Visit the Bran Castle, listed in Top 10 most famous castles on Earth, also connected to Dracula legend, one of Romania’s most prestigious touristical icon.

Built at the end of XIV-th century, Bran Castle had many owners, including Queen Maria. Today, the owner is Arquiduc Dominic of Habsburg. Among the most famous guest of the castle, ever, it was Vlad Tepes, in 1462, in his way to Visegrad (the place where he was incarcerated for 12 years). As consequence of Vlad Tepes stays in Bran Castle, this Castle it is connected to “Dracula Legend” too.

Day 8: Brasov - Sinaia - Ploiesti - Buzau - Braila “Golden Gate of Romania” Bridge - Tulcea - Crisan Danube Delta - Breakfast, Lunch box, Dinner

09.00 Departure to Sinaia, “The Pearl of the Carpathians”.

Route distance: 50 km - Aapproximately 1 hour by car

10.00-11.30 Peles Castle visit. Peles Castle is an architectural masterpiece, former Romanian Royale Family residence, today one of the richest museums of Romania.

Built between 1875 and 1914 by the King Charles the First of Romania, in german style, is an architectural and artistical masterpiece, the only touristical monument so far in Romania, to receive ever more than 1 milion visitors in one year!

11.30 Departure for Europe’s “youngest” land, Danube Delta, reaching Ploiesti, Buzau, Braila, crossing Romanian Planes, then crossing Danube over „Golden Gate of Romania” Bridge, Braila-Tulcea.

Continue to Tulcea, „the gate”/entrance of Danube Delta. Route distance Sinaia to Tulcea: 350 km - Approximately 5 hours by car

Disembarking from the coach and embarquing on the boat.

Around 16.30 pm-17.00 pm, we’ll sail on Sulina Branch/Arm of Danube  Delta, one of the three arms of Danube, spreaded in Danube Delta, before Danube reaching Black Sea waters; the other two Branches/Arms are Chilia and Sfantu Gheorghe.

Sailing distance Tulcea to Crisan: 50 km - Approximately boat sailing 1 hour

We disembark at Crisan.

Day 9: Crisan - excursion in Danube Delta - Crisan - Sulina - Crisan - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Morning dedicated for a boat excursion of 3-4 hours, in this paradise of waters and birds.

The Danube Delta is the second largest river Delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent. Occurring where the Danube River empties into the Black Sea, most of the Danube Delta lies in Romania, with a small part located in Ukraine.

Afternoon dedicated for a visit of Sulina, sailing on Sulina Branch of Danube Delta till the Black Sea.

Sailing distance Crisan to Sulina: 24 km - Approximately boat sailing 30 minutes

After the Crimean War (1853-1856), Sulina was designated as Headquarter of European Commission of the Danube. It was a very cosmopolite Porto Franco, with a lot of ethnies, working, living and transiting here.

We visit here: The Cosmopolite Cemetery, The Lighthouse, The Palace of European Commission of the Danube, Sulina Cathedral, Sulina Beach (if enough time).

Day 10: Crisan - excursion in Danube Delta at Letea Forest - Crisan - Breakfast, box Lunch, Dinner

Full-Day adventure: a fascinating 7-to-8-hour excursion to the world-famous Letea Forest.

• We will sail alongside canals and reach Letea Forest, situated on Grindul Letea.
• We will visir the oldest Natural Reserve in Romania: spectacular sandy dunes, the forest itself.
• And....we will encounter the beauty of .... the Wild Horses.

Day 11: Crisan - Tulcea - Cernavoda - Bucharest - Breakfast, Dinner

Transfer to the boat. We leave this paradisiac corner of Romania and we come back to Tulcea.

Departure for Bucharest, Romania’s capital, called „Little Paris”/”Le Petit Paris”.

Route distance Tulcea-Cernavoda-Bucharest 300 km (135 km+165km) - Approximately 5 hours by car

This time, will drive south, and will cross back Danube, via Cernavoda. Cernavoda is a Key Romanian City on Danube River.

3 facts:

1-Between 1890 and 1895, Anghel Saligny, the famous Romanian engineer, built the famous Cernavoda Bridge over Danube River, this bridge being at that time, the longuest bridge in Europe.

The old CERNAVODA BRIDGE is there, as a TESTIMONY of „genial construction”, The „Anghel Saligny” Cernavoda bridge, has been REPLACED by modern Motorway and Railway bridges;

2-Here is one terminus point of DANUBE-BLACK SEA CANAL (the other terminus point is AGIGEA, at the BLACK SEA), the third longuest canal in the world built during XX-th and XX-th centuries, after SUEZ CANAL and PANAMA CANAL.

3-Here is the place of the only NUCLEAR POWER PLANT of ROMANIA.

We continue to Bucharest. Upon arrival in Bucharest, we discover that the capital is deeply connected to the Dracula legend:

Bucharest is another place connected to Dracula Legend. Legend says Bucharest was founded by sheperd Bucur. Another Legend says Bucharest was founded by Mircea cel Batran, the ruling Prince of Wallachia at the end of fourteenth century. But officially, it was Vlad Tepes, Prince of Wallachia at that time, who signed the Act of Attestation of Bucharest, at September 21-st 1459. Old Princiary Court of Bucharest was built at the end of XIV-th and the beginning of XV-th centuries, by the Voivode/Prince Mircea cel Batran. The fire of 1718 and the earthquake in 1738, destroyed the Old Princiary Court. A New Princiary Court was buil after these two calamities. Nowadays, from the Princiary Court, Bucharest keeps the Ruins of Princiary Court and Old Court Museum.

The Second largest building on Earth, after the Pentagon, but first civilian building on Earth! Built in the eighties of last century, now hosts Romanian Parliament and is now Romania’s Capital one of the most important LANDMARKS.

10.30-13.00 We continue with a panoramic tour of Bucharest: National Cathedral (The largest Orthodox Cathedral in the World)! Cathedral of the Patriachy, University Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Athenaeum (architectural masterpiece; here is the main hall of concerts for one of the most prestigious Classical Music Festivals on Earth (” George Enescu Festival”!), Unirii Square.
