    Beginning of our services

    Day 1: arrival in Romania - Cluj-Napoca

    Arrival at Cluj-Napoca International Airport.

    Welcome by your English speaking guide.

    Transfer at the hotel.

    Accommodation in Cluj-Napoca.

    Day 2: Cluj-Napoca - Bistrita - Dorolea - Reghin - Sighisoara - breakfast

    Breakfast.

    Cluj-Napoca walking city tour: Saint Michael Church, the University, Evangelical Church, Equestrian Statue of Mathias Corvin, Native House of Mathias Corvin, National Theater, Orthodox Cathedral.

    Departure towards Bistrita “Bistritz”, one of the Transylvanian cities with an important Saxon heritage. Visit the Evangelical Church, masterpiece of Transylvanian gothic style.

    Then we continue to the tiny Saxon village of Dorolea ‘Klein Bistritz”, the first Transylvanian Saxon village to become UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Short visit of the village.

    Departure towards Sighisoara, considered as “Pearl of Transylvania”, Schäßburg (Saxon name).

    Stop will be in Reghin “Sachsisch Regen”, another city with saxon heritage.

    Visit of “Gliga” Violin Factory, as Reghin is considered as Capital of Romanian violin industry.

    You have the possibility to buy one.

    Arrival in Sighisoara.

    Accommodation in Sighisoara.

    Day 3: Sighisoara - Bran - Brasov - breakfast

    Breakfast.

    Two hours walking tour of medieval city of Sighisoara, dominating the hill.

    Sighisoara is the city where the famous Prince Vlad Tepes (surnamed “Vlad the Impaler”) was born in 1431.

    The tour will include: a few of the 9 existing towers (in total the city counted 14 towers), “Vlad Dracul” House (XVth century), Venetian House, Stag House, Covered Stairs, The Church on the Hill.

    Departure towards Bran.

    Bran Castel, or “Dracula Castle”, is in “Top 10 most famous castles on Earth”, also being considered as the most expensive medieval castle ever built.

    Bran Castle is our second “rendez-vous” with “Dracula Legend”.

    Departure towards Brasov “Kronstadt”, another very important Transylvanian city with a strong Saxon heritage.

    Brasov walking tour: City Hall Square, City Hall, Corde Street (narrowest on Earth), Black Church.

    Accommodation in Brasov.

    Day 4: Brasov - Sinaia - Prejmer - Sibiu - breakfast

    Breakfast.

    Departure towards Sinaia, “The Pearl of Carpathians”.

    Morning visit of Peles Castle, architectural masterpiece, former summer residence of Romanian Royal Family.

    Departure towards Prejmer/Tartlau. Visit of the Fortified Church, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Departure for Sibiu.

    Arrival in Sibiu, “Hermannstadt”, another very important Transylvanian city, also with Saxon heritage, former European Cultural Capital in 2007.

    Accommodation in Sibiu.

    Day 5: Sibiu - Sibiel - Sibiu - breakfast

    Breakfast.

    Sibiu walking city tour: Big Square, Small Square, Huet Square, Evangelical Church, Catholic Cathedral, Lutheran Cathedral of Saint Mary, Orthodox Cathedral, Liars Bridge, Handicrafts Square, City Hall, City Hall Tower, Bruckenthal Museum.

    We continue with ‘Astra Museum” visit, one of the most important ethnographical museums in the world

    In the afternoon, we visit Sibiel “Icons on the Glass” Museum.

    Back to Sibiu.

    Day 6: Sibiu - Alba Iulia - Turda - Cluj-Napoca - breakfast                    

    Breakfast.

    Departure towards Alba Iulia, “Romania’s Union Capital” and former capital of Transylvania.

    Alba Iulia city tour: Reunification Cathedral, Catholic Cathedral, Prince’s Palace, Equestrian Statue of Mihai Viteazul/Michael the Brave.

    Michael the Brave was the first ever Romanian Prince to achieve the Union of the Three Historical Romanian Provinces (Transylvania, Moldova and Vallachia), on November the 1st 1599.

    Also, in Alba Iulia, the Great Romania was born on December 1st 1918.

    We finish Alba Iulia tour with „Alba Carolina” medieval fortress, Vauban style masterpiece.

    If we have chance, we can attend the ceremony of “guard change”.

    Alba Carolina end of the tour will bring us at the cell where Horia, Closca and Crisan, the leaders of “Revolt of Horea, Closca and Crisan” from 1784.

    Departure towards Turda Salt Mine.

    Visit of Turda Salt Mine.

    Departure towards Cluj-Napoca “Klausenburg”, another very important Transylvanian city, also with Saxon heritage.

    Accommodation in Cluj-Napoca.

    Day 7: Cluj-Napoca - departure from Romania - breakfast

    Breakfast.

    Transfer to the airport, according with your flight schedule.

    Please remember that it’s your responsibility to carry the proper travel documents. Also, make sure to see your doctor before your trip for a check-up and ensure that you have valid travel insurance.

    1. All visa (if needed) requirements must be fulfilled and these are entirely your responsibility.

    2. Make sure you have your passport with you at all times, some visits require presenting it upon arrival. Try to bring at least one copy of your passport and visa (if needed) and keep all documents safe.

    3. Some of the museums in Romania are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

    4. This program will act as a contract between parties and/or will be considered as an addendum to a contract already valid.

    5. The offer presented above and all the services proposed are subject to availability upon your firm request.

    6. All the reservations for the requested travel services are made only after the payment confirmation is sent to us. Please note that no services can be guaranteed without receiving the full payment at least 15 days in advance before the arrival of the clients (group).
