Day 1: arrival in Romania - Bucharest - dinner
Arrival at Bucharest International Airport.
Welcome by your English speaking guide.
Transfer and check-in at your hotel in Bucharest.
A few hours of free time to rest after your journey to Romania.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in Bucharest.
Day 2: Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast.
We will start exploring Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.
The day begins with the visit of a few important landmarks Bucharest has to offer: the Palace of the Parliament, Constitution Square, University Square, Union Square and the Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral, except for the Palace of the Parliament, panoramic views only.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will start exploring another part of Bucharest, with a panoramic city tour which take us along the following route: The Arch of Triumph, Victory Square, Victoria Palace, Victory Avenue, Romanian Athenaeum (architectural masterpiece; the main concert hall for one of the most prestigious classical music festivals on Earth: George Enescu Festival) and the beautiful old quarter of the city, with a few stops for scenic photos, where possible.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in Bucharest.
Day 3: Bucharest - Snagov - Urlati - Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast.
Today we will follow the footsteps of two Wallachian and respectively Romanian rulers: Vlad Tepes (connected to the Legend of Dracula and founder of Bucharest) and Nicolae Ceausescu (the last Romanian leader during the communist period).
Nicolae Ceausescu and his entourage used Snagov as a weekend retreat, along the shores of the lake and on the edge of Codrii Vlasiei forest. Also in Snagov, on an islet, lies the beautiful Snagov Monastery, where it’s supposed to be Vlad Tepes’s Tomb.

Departure for Urlati, in a famous winemaking area.
Here, we will visit Urlateanu Manor, a wine cellar built in 1922 and recently restored.
You will have the opportunity to visit the cellar, then after a short presentation on how the wine is made, we will finish, of course, with wine tasting.
You have here the chance to buy some quality Romanian wine for your collection.
We’ll enjoy a traditional lunch, at the property’s restaurant.
After lunch a short walking to enjoy the view and panorama of the hills and vineyards.
Transfer back to your hotel in Bucharest.
Accommodation in Bucharest (or close to the city).
Day 4: Bucharest - Giurgeni-Vadu Oii - Tulcea - Danube Delta - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast.
We depart to one of Europe’s largest preserved natural marves, the Danube Delta, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our route will take us East, crossing the mighty Danube River over the Giurgeni-Vadu Oii bridge.
Arrival in Tulcea.
Here, we will embark on our boat and enter this fascinating water world.
Lunch on board.
After a briefing regarding our trip into the Danube Delta, time to relax and enjoy the nature.
Dinner on board.
Overnight aboard a floating hotel, Danube Delta.
Day 5: Danube Delta - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast.
Danube Delta, this amazing natural habitat is one of Europe’s most wild and biodiverse areas. Romania is blessed to have the largest part of this wonder within it’s borders, over 3.400 km² out of the total 4.150 km². Hosting more than 20 different natural ecosystems, besides the prevalent aquatic environment, the entire area is home to an impressive number of plants and animals, but bird lovers will find here a true Eden.
Lunch on board.
We will take smaller boats in order to better observe this tremendous universe, the water channels, the natural beauties and the peaceful atmosphere.
We will return to our cruise vessel.
Dinner on our boat.
Overnight aboard a floating hotel, Danube Delta.
Day 6: Danube Delta - Tulcea - Bucharest - departure from Romania - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast.
We will take one more channel cruise before leaving the Danube Delta.
Lunch on board.
From Tulcea, we head to Bucharest, crossing once again the impressive Danube River.
Arrival in Bucharest, in the evening.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport, according with your flight schedule.
Departure from Bucharest International Airport.

Please remember that it’s your responsibility to carry the proper travel documents. Also, make sure to see your doctor before your trip for a check-up and ensure that you have valid travel insurance.
1. All visa (if needed) requirements must be fulfilled and these are entirely your responsibility.
2. Make sure you have your passport with you at all times, some visits require presenting it upon arrival. Try to bring at least one copy of your passport and visa (if needed) and keep all documents safe.
3. Some of the museums in Romania are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
4. This program will act as a contract between parties and/or will be considered as an addendum to a contract already valid.
