Day 1 Warsaw

Welcome by local guide.
Afternoon panoramic city tour of Warsaw.

Day 2 Warsaw - Krakow - breakfast

Departure to Krakow, historical capital of Poland.
Arrival in Krakow.
Afternoon city tour of Krakow: Stare Miasto/Old Town, Rynek Glowny/Main Market Square, Kosciol Mariacki/Saint Mary Cathedral, Wieza Ratuszowa/Town Hall Tower, Sukiennice/Cloth Hall, Jagiellon University, Maius College, Wawel Castle (masterpiece of Polish Renaissance, burial place for the kings of Poland).
Accommodation in Krakow

Day 3 Krakow - Auschwitz/Birkenau - Czestochowa - Wroclaw - breakfast
Excursion to Auschwitz/Birkenau, former nazi concentration camp.
Departure to Czestochowa, “the Catholic Mecca” of Poland.
Visit of Klasztor Paulinow/Paulite Monastery, on top of Jasna Gora.
Inside, you can admire Czarna Madonna/Black Madonna, the most sacred Polish Icon.
Departure to Wroclaw.
Accommodation in Wroclaw.

Day 4 Wroclaw - Prague - breakfast

Wroclaw panoramic city tour: Ostrow Tumski/Cathedral Island, Katedra Sw.Jana Chrzciciela/Saint John the Baptist Cathedral, Ratusz/Town Hall, Rynek Glowny/Main Market Square.
Departure to Prague.
Arrival in Prague.

Day 5 Prague - breakfast

Prague city tour: Venceslas Square, Saint Venceslas statue , Old Town Square, Jan Hus statue, Old Town Hall, Astronomical Clock, Franz Kafka’s former home, Charles Bridge, Mala Strana.
We end the tour with Prague Castle visit.

Day 6 Prague - Vienna - breakfast
Departure to Vienna, one of the jewel cities of Central Europe.
Arrival in Vienna.
Vienna city tour: State Opera House, Monument against War and Fascism, Hofburg/Imperial Palace (which includes Imperial Palace Gardens, The Chapel, State Rooms, Neue Hofburg/New Palace), National Library, Josefsplatz, Augustinen Kirche, Spanish Riding School, Parliament, Rathaus/City Hall, Burgtheater, University, Belvedere Palace.
Accommodation in Vienna.

Day 7 Vienna - Bratislava - Budapest - breakfast
Departure to Bratislava.
Bratislava city tour: Primate’s Palace, Old Town Hall, St. Martin Cathedral, Slovak National Theater.
Departure to Budapest, another jewel city in Central Europe.
Arrival in Budapest.
Budapest city tour: Parliament Palace, The Castle District, Royal Palace, Citadella, Saint Stephan Church, the Danube Bridges.
Accommodation in Budapest.

Day 8 Budapest - Danube Bend - Budapest - breakfast
Morning tour in Danube Bend.
We drive to Esztergom.
Then we embark on a Boat.
From the boat we visit one after one, the cities: Szentendre, Visegrad and Esztergom.
Return to Budapest.
Free afternoon in Budapest.

Day 9 Budapest - Satu Mare - Sighetu Marmatiei - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Departure to Satu Mare.
Arrival in Satu Mare.
Satu Mare panoramic tour.
Departure to Sapanta.
Merry Cemetery visit, unique in the world.
Departure to Sighetu Marmatiei.
Accommodation in Sighetu Marmatiei.

Day 10 Sighetu Marmatiei - Barsana - Ieud - Botiza - Sighetu Marmatiei - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Visit of Sighet Memorial.
Departure to Barsana.
Visit of Wooden Church Complex.
We continue the tour in Maramures county.
Visit of Ieud, traditional village in Maramures.
Visit of the oldest wooden church in Romania “Church on the hill”, place also where was discovered the oldest book in Romanian.
This church is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We continue to Botiza.
Afternoon visits in Botiza: the churches, the traditional factories for: tuica (Romanian brandy), textiles; water mill, water whirlpool.
Back to Sighetu Marmatiei.

Day 11 Sighetu Marmatiei - Cluj-Napoca - breakfast, lunch, dinner

Departure to Cluj-Napoca, Romania’s second largest city.
Arrival in Cluj-Napoca.
Cluj-Napoca walking city tour: Saint Michael’s Church, The University, Evangelical Church, Matthias Corvinus Memorial House, National Theatre, Orthodox Cathedral.
Accommodation in Cluj-Napoca.

Day 12 Cluj-Napoca - Alba Iulia - Sibiu - breakfast, lunch, dinner
3 hours free time for shopping: top quality Romanian leather shoes.
Departure to Alba Iulia, Romania’s Union Capital.
Alba Iulia city tour, including Medieval Guard Ceremony.
Departure to Sibiu, 2007 European Cultural Capital.
Arrival in Sibiu.
Sibiu Medieval city walking tour: Piata Mare/Big Square, Piata Mica/Small Square, Piata Huet/Huet Square, Evangelical Cathedral, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Cathedral, Liars Bridge.
Dinner in Sibiu.
Accommodation in Sibiu.

Day 13 Sibiu - Medias - Biertan - Sighisoara - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Drive to Medias.
Visit Biertan: the Cathedral, Medieval city center. This Fortified Church of Biertan is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Drive to Sighisoara.
Walking tour of the old city: 9 over 14 medieval towers are still “defending” the city.
Among these, the Clock Tower is the most well preserved and here we have the City Museum.
Famous houses: Clad Dracul House (XV-th century), Venetian House, Stag House.
Staircase will help us get to the top of the Citadel. Church on The Hill, the third largest Catholic Cathedral in Romania.
Accommodation in Sighisoara or Medias.

Day 14 Sighisoara - Brasov - Bran - Sinaia - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Departure to Brasov.
Brasov short city tour: City hall square, Black Church.
Drive to Bran.
Famous Bran Castle visit.
Departure to Sinaia, “The Pearl of the Carpathians”.
Accommodation in Sinaia.

Day 15 Sinaia - Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner
Peles Castle visit.
Departure to Bucharest.
Arrival in Bucharest.
Afternoon Parliament Palace visit. The second largest building on Earth, after the Pentagon.
Continue with panoramic city tour: Romanian Athenaeum, University Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral (only outside visits).
Accommodation in Bucharest.

Day 16 Bucharest - breakfast
Transfer to Bucharest International Airport.
Flight back home.
