Day 1 Bucharest

Arrival at Bucharest International Airport.
Welcome by the local guide.
Transfer at the hotel.
Accommodation in Bucharest.

Day 2 Bucharest - breakfast, dinner

We start with Parliament Palace visit, the second building on Earth, after the Pentagon, built in the ‘80’s, one of Bucharest’s landmarks.
Panoramic tour of Bucharest: Cathedral of the Patriarchy, University Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Athenaeum (architectural masterpiece; here is the main hall concerts for one of the moste prestigious Classical Music Festivals on Earth!), Unirii Square.
Afternoon at leisure.
Optional 1: shopping at Baneasa Shopping City.
Optional 2: Visit of “Village Museum”, or “National Museum of Art”, or “National History Museum”, or “Natural History Museum”, or another museum.

Day 3 Bucharest - Sinaia - Brasov - Bran - Brasov - breakfast, lunch, dinner

Departure to Sinaia.
Arrival in Sinaia.
Visit of Peles Castle, Romanian most beautiful castle, former Romanian Royal Family summer residence. Today a very rich museum, architectural masterpiece built in German style, between 1875 and 1914.
Departure for Brasov.
Departure to Bran.
Visit the Bran Castle, listed in Top 10 Most Famous Castles on Earth, connected to Dracula legend, one of Romania’s most prestigious touristic icons.
Built at the end of XIV-th century, Bran Castle had many owners, including Queen Maria. Today, the owner is Archduke Dominic of Habsburg. Among the most famous guest of the castle, ever, it was Vlad Tepes, in 1462, in his way to Visegrad (the place where he was incarcerated for 12 years).
Departure to Brasov.

Day 4 Brasov - Urlati - Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner

Brasov walking city tour: City Hall Square, City Hall, Saint Nicholas Church, Franciscan Monastery, Brasov Fortress and of course, The Cord Street (the narrowest stree on Earth!), The Black Church, the icon monument of Brasov.
This is the largest Catholic Church in Romania and the largest one between Vienna and Istanbul. Inside there is one of the largest organs in Romania and also a beautiful collection of oriental carpets.
Departure for Urlati, where we will visit one cellar, named Urlateanu Manor, built in 1920.
You will have the opportunity to have visit the cellar, then to have a short presentation on how the wine is made. You’ll finish with wine tasting.
You have here the chance to buy some wine for your wine collection.
After wine tasting, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch.
After lunch a short walking to enjoy the view and panorama of the hills and vineyards.

Day 5 Bucharest - Snagov - Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner - period A “Snagov”

This day you’ll be “on the footsteps of two Wallachian and respectively Romanian rulers: Vlad Tepes (connected with Dracula Legend and founder of city of Bucharest) and Nicolae Ceausescu (the last Romanian leader during the communist period). The place where we can be on the footsteps of these two leader is Snagov, 36 kms at the north of Bucharest.
We have here the former residences which Nicolae Ceausescu used during his reign, we have a beautiful forest (remaining part of “Codrii Vlasiei” gigantic forest in the Middle Ages), we have special collections of items, the largest on Earth about Vlad Tepes, we have an island which holds Snagov Monastery (where inside the Monastery it is supposed to lie Vlad Tepes’s Tomb).

Day 5 Bucharest - Targoviste - Bucharest - breakfast, lunch, dinner - period B “Targoviste”

Departure for Targoviste, former capital of Wallachia between 1396 and 1459 and then between 1459 and 1714 together with Bucharest (with several interruptions).
Here we visit the Princely Court of Wallachia, the place from where Wallachia was ruled in the Middle Ages, during the periods when Targoviste was the capital of Wallachia.
This city has very strong connections with Vlad Tepes. He ruled Wallachia from here for three years without interruptions between 1456 and 1459, then he founded Bucharest in 1459 and moved the capital to Bucharest. However, Targoviste kept the court for more than 250 years, till 1714, when definitively Bucharest remained the only capital of Wallachia.
Back to Bucharest.

Day 6 Bucharest - breakfast
Transfer to Bucharest International Airport.
Flight back home.
