Day 1 Cluj-Napoca - dinner

Day 2 Cluj-Napoca - breakfast, dinner
Breakfast.
Cluj-Napoca 2 hours walking city tour: Saint Michael’s Church, The University, Evangelical Church, Mathias Corvin Memorial House, National Theatre, Orthodox Cathedral.
Free time for shopping top quality Romanian leather shoes or optional Botanic Garden visit.
Dinner.

Day 3 Cluj-Napoca - Turda - Alba Iulia - Geoagiu Bai - breakfast, dinner

Departure for Turda.
Visit of Turda Salt Mine.
Departure to Alba Iulia, Romania’s Union Capital.
Alba Iulia city tour, including Medieval Guard Ceremony.
Departure for Geoagiu Băi, famous thermal resort.

Day 4 Geoagiu Bai - Hunedoara - Sibiu - breakfast, dinner

Departure to Hunedoara.
Visit of the Corvin Castle, listed on Top 25 Europe’s most famous castles.
Departure to Sibiu, 2007 European Cultural Capital. Arrival in Sibiu.
Sibiu Medieval city 2 hour walking tour: Piata Mare/Big Square, Piata Mica/Small Square, Piata Huet/Huet Square, Evangelical Cathedral, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Cathedral, Liar’s Bridge. Dinner.
Accommodation in Sibiu.

Day 5 Sibiu - Sighisoara/Medias - breakfast, dinner

Breakfast.
Free morning for shopping in Sibiu or optional visit to the Astra and Bruckenthal Museums.
Drive to Sighisoara, the only Medieval Citadel in Europe, entirely inhabited, UNESCO World Heritage site.
Arrival in Sighisoara. Walking Tour to see famous places and monuments: 9 over 14 medieval towers are still “defending” the city. Among these, The Clock Tower is the most well preserved and holds the City’s Museum.
Famous houses: Vlad Dracul House (15th century), Venetian House, Stag House. The staircases will help us to get to the top of the Citadel. The Church of the Hill, Catholic Cathedral.

Accommodation in Sighisoara or Medias.

Day 6 Sighisoara - Brasov - Bran - breakfast, dinner
Breakfast.
Departure to Brasov.
Braşov short city tour: City Council Square, Black Church.
Famous Bran Castle visit, also listed in the Top 25 Europe’s most famous castles.
Typical Romanian dinner.
Accommodation in Bran.

Day 7 Bran - Sinaia - Bucharest - breakfast, dinner

Breakfast
Departure to Sinaia, “The Pearl of the Carpathians”.
Peles Castle visit. An architectural masterpiece, former Romanian Royal Family residence, today one of the richest museums of Romania.
Departure to Bucharest
Arrival in Bucharest.
In the afternoon Parliament Palace visit. The second largest building on Earth, after the Pentagon, built under communist Regime, now it hosts the Parliament and is one of the most important landmarks of the city. We continue with panoramic city tour: Romanian Athenaeum, University Square, Revolution Square, Patriarchy Cathedral (only outside visits).
Dinner.
Accommodation in Bucharest.

Day 8 Bucharest - breakfast

Breakfast.
Transfer to Bucharest International Airport.
Flight back home.
